AttendanceMattersRI: Governor McKee, Commissioner Infante-Green Recognize Weekly Attendance Leaders and Improved Schools Published on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 PROVIDENCE, RI – Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMatters campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance. The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of January 1, 2024*: Elementary: Nayatt School, Barrington – 96.8% Middle: Barrington Middle School – 95.1% High School: Narragansett High School – 94.3% Due to holiday break school closures, schools with the most improved weekly average attendance will not be reported this week. This reporting will return next week.
