AttendanceMattersRI: Governor McKee, Commissioner Infante-Green Recognize Weekly Attendance Leaders (Week of February 25, 2024) Published on Tuesday, March 05, 2024 PROVIDENCE, RI – Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMatters campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance. The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of February 25, 2024*: Elementary: Forest Avenue School, Middletown – 96.9% Middle: Times2 STEM Academy, Providence** – 98.6% High: Classical High School, Providence – 95.7% Attendance improvement leaders will return next week as a result of the February break.
