AttendanceMattersRI: Governor McKee, Commissioner Infante-Green Recognize Weekly Attendance Leaders (Week of March 18, 2024) Published on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 PROVIDENCE, RI – Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMatters campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance. The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of March 18, 2024*: Elementary: Stadium School, Cranston – 97% Middle: Times2 STEM Academy** – 99.1% High: Classical High School, Providence – 96.2% Special recognition is extended to the following schools for demonstrating the most improved average attendance rates from the previous week: Elementary: Warwick Neck School, Warwick – 13.3% Middle: Calcutt Middle School, Central Falls – 3.7% High: Coventry High School – 4.0% The Governor and Commissioner express their gratitude and encouragement to all schools in Rhode Island for their ongoing efforts to prioritize attendance and reinforce the value of consistent learning experiences for all students. *As of Tuesday, March 25 at 6 a.m. **Schools with multiple grade levels (i.e. elementary and middle school) are categorized by RIDE by their largest population
