Governor McKee Nominates Bryant Da Cruz to Rhode Island Ethics Commission Published on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Dan McKee today announced his appointment of Bryant Da Cruz to the Rhode Island Ethics Commission. “Throughout his career and personal life, Bryant Da Cruz has demonstrated a deep commitment to the people of Rhode Island," said Governor McKee. “I am proud to nominate him to the Rhode Island Ethics Commission where I am confident he will uphold the highest standards of integrity in government.” Da Cruz has worked as a Realtor in Rhode Island since 2003 and just became the immediate past President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. Da Cruz has also served on numerous boards and committees including the National Association of Realtors Board, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Government Affairs Committee and the Kent Washington Board of Realtors Professional Standards Committee. He also serves as a volunteer firefighter for Union Fire District and is the former Vice President of the South Kingstown Town Council. Da Cruz believes in giving back to his community and has previously fostered many children and volunteered with organizations like Habitat for Humanity. He graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Entrepreneurship. “I’m deeply humbled and honored to be appointed by Governor Dan McKee. The Rhode Island Ethics Commission is a constitutionally mandated body empowered to adopt, enforce and administer the Code of Ethics. The Code sets forth standards of conduct for all public officials and employees across state and local government. The Commission educates and advises public officials and employees about the standards of conduct set out in the Code of Ethics. ###
